A joint meeting was held between the Turkish investor delegation and the CEO of the Kerman Development Organization to examine investment opportunities in the Sirjan Special Economic Zone and to develop infrastructure, logistics services, international transport, and heavy machinery.<\/p>\n\n
During this meeting, held in the presence of Dr. Amiri, CEO of the Kerman Development Organization, and Saeed Abolhasani, the organization’s senior economic advisor, the investment capabilities and opportunities within the Sirjan Special Economic Zone were outlined, as were the capabilities of Kerman Development Organization subsidiaries\u2014specifically the Jopar Passenger and Freight Train Company and the Samangan Cargo Company\u2014regarding international freight transport.<\/p>\n\n
Highlighting the strategic location of Kerman province along the North-South and East-West transit corridors, Dr. Amiri stated at the meeting: “The Kerman Public Works Organization\u2014leveraging the capabilities of its specialized companies in rail, road, and logistics\u2014is able to form an integrated transport and logistics service chain; key among these companies are Jopar in the rail sector and Samangan Bar in international freight.” <\/p>\n\n
Dr. Amiri also outlined the capabilities of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, stating: “Given its significant role in the industrial, mining, and commercial activities of the country’s southeast, as well as its access to Bandar Abbas, the national railway network, transit routes, and major mines in Kerman Province, this region offers substantial investment potential in areas such as logistics parks, industrial and cold-storage warehouses, container terminals, heavy machinery repair and maintenance, and the expansion of rail and road fleets.” <\/p>\n\n
Continuing the meeting, Saeed Abolhasani, Senior Economic Advisor to the Kerman Civil Engineering Organization, also presented an overview of the province’s economic and transit capabilities, stating: “The rail and road transport capabilities of the Jopar and Samangan Bar companies, combined with Sirjan’s unique economic and transit position, have enabled the development of a comprehensive logistics chain.” <\/p>\n\n
He added: “Cooperation with Turkish investors in areas such as goods transit, customs services, smart logistics, combined rail-road transport, and heavy machinery services can pave the way for the expansion of trade and the creation of added value for both parties.” <\/p>\n\n
During this meeting, members of the Turkish investor delegation welcomed the capabilities on offer and expressed interest in exploring and developing joint cooperation in the areas of logistics, fleet development and heavy machinery services, combined rail-road transport, and international freight.<\/p>\n\n
At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on the need to continue negotiations and examine operational areas of cooperation and joint investment in the agreed-upon zones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
