The training on injections and intravenous therapy was designed to refine staff members’ first-aid skills and to strengthen a corporate culture centered on continuous learning, accountability, and health and safety vigilance within the Kerman Civil Engineering Organization.<\/p>\n\n

According to a press release from the organization, the training\u2014which combined theory and practice\u2014was attended by the Director General, senior executives, and 19 employees. It was led by Anahita Khodadad, Dr. Marjan Mushkil-Ghasha, and nurse Mansoureh Siraj-ol-Ghoum, all of whom are instructors for the Red Crescent. <\/p>\n\n

Abbas Foroutan, Executive Vice President and Deputy Director General of the Kerman Civil Engineering Organization, remarked\u2014with reference to previous rescue and relief training provided by the Red Crescent\u2014that “this training on injections and serotherapy was a continuation of earlier programs, aimed at refining our personnel’s rescue skills. We strive to integrate practical training into the organization\u2019s activities and to provide a solid foundation for enhancing the knowledge and expertise of our colleagues across various fields.”<\/p>\n\n

He added: \u201cDeveloping a culture of learning in the workplace, in addition to enhancing individual skills, helps to strengthen cooperation, accountability, and collective preparedness. Placing a special focus on employee training and skills development is also an important element in building human capital and improving organizational culture.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Foroutan also emphasized the importance of continuous training tailored to employees’ needs, stating: “Knowledge of first-aid principles and occupational health and safety regulations helps raise employee awareness regarding emergency situations and encourages them to participate more actively in maintaining workplace safety.”<\/p>\n\n

As part of this training, participants were introduced to topics such as understanding medications, interpreting prescriptions, administering insulin and intramuscular injections, fluid therapy, and handling intravenous catheters. They also received practical, hands-on training under the supervision of the instructors.<\/p>\n\n

At the conclusion of the training, the cooperation of the Red Crescent and the dedication of the instructors\u2014Anahita Khodadad, Dr. Marjan Mushkil-Ghasha, and nurse Mansoureh Siraj-ol-Ghom\u2014were highly commended.
