At the end of the second Iran-Belarus agricultural cooperation working group hosted by the Belarusian capital Minsk, the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding, according to which trade and trade relations in the fields of agricultural products, horticulture, fisheries and aquaculture will be extended.
 

The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by the Deputy Minister of Commercial Development of the Jihad Ministry for Agriculture of our country, arrived in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, on Monday to participate in the second working group on agricultural cooperation between Iran and Belarus.
   The Iran-Belarus Agricultural Cooperation Working Group meeting also discussed ways to increase cooperation in the agricultural sector and ways to increase trade in agricultural products.
   Referring to the capacities of the agricultural sector of Iran and Belarus, the Deputy Minister of Trade Development of our country, Jihad for Agriculture, announced that he was ready to further increase the joint cooperation in all fields with the Belarusian part.
Belarusian Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lexi Bagdanov also noted the significant growth in trade between the two countries in the field of agriculture in 2020 and 2021, saying the two sides could respond. mutually to the important needs of the other party.
At this meeting, it was agreed that the third meeting of the working group on agricultural cooperation between the two countries will be held in September 2022 in Tehran.
The first meeting of this working group was hosted by Tehran in September 2017.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Belarus, referring to the 30% increase in trade between the two countries in the field of agricultural products, said: “The comparison of trade between the two countries in the field of agricultural products. agriculture at the end of the tenth month of 2021 shows growth of 30%, Has reached $ 8 million.
The meetings and consultations of the Iranian Council of Agriculture will continue until Thursday, November 11 in Belarus.
