Sirjan Special Economic Zone: This is the first specially protected area in Iran, which was formalized under Note 20 of the Law of the First Plan and Clause “D” of Note 25 of the Second Law in terms of economic, social and cultural development of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Iranian customs unit in the region started its activities in the form of construction and operation of warehouses and warehouses since 1980 for the transit of goods, units of industrial production and assembly and classification, as well as support, wellness and accommodation services.
This area covers an area of 1370 hectares and is located between the Tehran-Bandar Abbas transit road and next to the triangle-shaped city airport.
With the start of the second five-year socio-economic development plan of the country and with the approval of paragraph "d" of footnote 25 in 1994, this region pursued more recent and more comprehensive objectives, taking into account the previous objectives of national support. the production and development of non-oil exports. The creation of mobility in the regional economy under the special economic name of Sirjan began to work and following the legal measures to solve the problems and difficulties that arise or still exist in the implementation of the law and its regulations executives during the implementation of the works شد. (It should be explained that the protected area of Sirjan was renamed Special Economic Zone of Sirjan during the 22nd session of the Supreme Council of Free Zones).
In order to familiarize investors with customs laws, which is one of the most important issues in any special economic zone, we will mention some of these laws in Sirjan Special Economic Zone:
1- The import of a percentage of goods produced in special economic zones in the country without any restrictions has been announced. This amount is equivalent to the ratio between the total added value and the domestic materials and parts used on the total price of manufactured products, which does not require registration of order and opening of credit and is not subject to conditions not authorized and conditional.
2- The importation of goods produced in the free and special economic zones of the country to any of the other commercial zones, according to the diagnosis and approval of the organization of each zone, is exempt from all or part of the duties customs. The production certificate issued by the region for the goods produced will be the criterion for determining the place of production of the goods mentioned.
3- It is possible to seize all goods in the region without customs formalities such as the registration of orders and trade.
4- The export of goods from the region will be done without any formality.
5- Customs goods can be transferred by warehouse receipt.
6- It is possible to separate the goods by issuing a warehouse receipt.
7- The certificate of origin and the negotiable warehouse receipt are issued by the region to be presented to the opening bank.
8- Due to the concentration of the region in the provision of services and the provision of facilities to traders and artisans who import goods into the region, customs formalities are minimal and working speed maximum.
9- There is no time limit for the storage of goods in public and private warehouses in the region, provided that it is extended and the goods are not declared abandoned.
