Besides attending a meeting of senior officials from the Islamic Development Bank, Seyed Ehsan Khandouzi also met with the economy ministers of countries including Indonesia and Qatar.
During these meetings, various issues of bilateral relations were discussed.
During the meeting of the Minister of Economy with his Indonesian counterpart, the two countries discussed how the two countries can cooperate in the field of supply of basic goods.
Also, during a family meeting with Al-Jars, the head of the Islamic Development Bank, various issues and obstacles to Iran's cooperation with the bank were discussed.
There is also a specialized trilateral meeting between Iran; Iraq and the Islamic Development Bank were held for the purpose of cooperation between the two countries.
During the annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank in Egypt, the Minister of Economy mentioned interaction with Islamic countries and strengthening the economy as two important priorities for Iran.
Seyyed Ehsan Khandouzi, who traveled to Egypt to attend the annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank, said: "The plan of the Iranian government is to pay attention to the neighborhood policy, in particular the interaction with Islamic countries, as well as efforts to strengthen the Iranian economy. The Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance at the General Assembly of the IDB Annual Meeting said: "Given the importance of food security and the dependence of Islamic countries on grain imports, as well as the effects and consequences of the Russian-Ukrainian war, our proposal to the Islamic Development Bank is to give priority to agricultural self-sufficiency in basic products.
Khandouzi also called on the Islamic Development Bank to finance technological projects related to the treatment of diseases, considering Iran's success as the leader of the Islamic country in health technology and anti-vaccine vaccine and many capabilities that exist in this area. .
