Mirakbar Razavi said: After conducting two rounds of negotiations regarding increasing bilateral air transport cooperation between Iran and Qatar in Doha and Kish Island on the morning of Friday, July 17, with the visit of the head of the Civil Aviation Organization of Qatar to Tehran, a memorandum of understanding was signed and the cooperation agreement was signed between the heads of the Civil Aviation Organization of the two countries .
He added: In the aforementioned Memorandum of Understanding, the use of Iran's air transport capabilities during the 2022 World Cup Games was signed, and the objectives of the Iranian air transport industry were highlighted and taken into account based on the guidance of the Honorable Minister of Roads. and urban development.
Razavi clarified: In this memorandum, the transport of spectators to World Cup matches by Iranian airlines, as well as the increase of Iranian flights according to the demand and capacity of the Iranian side, were agreed. .
The Civil Aviation Organization spokesperson continued: In addition, the issue of canceling visas for foreign nationals who wish to visit or stay in Kish Island during World Cup matches has been announced to the Qatari side.
He added: Considering the Doha airport traffic, Iran has announced that it is ready to park and park the country's planes at Bandar Abbas, Kish, Qeshm and Bushehr airports.
Razavi said: Also, following the establishment of the new Doha FIR (the air border of the two countries), a Memorandum of Understanding was signed on the exchange of air traffic with respect to technical points and training for flight attendants between Doha and Tehran.
