The Minister of Silence announced: During a meeting with the Minister of Industry and Trade of Zimbabwe, the Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade emphasized the development of commercial relations between the two countries and announced: last year, exports to Africa increased by 100% compared to 2019, and this year also compared to the same period last year. During this meeting, Fatemi Amin declared that the development of trade with African countries, in particular Zimbabwe, is one of the priorities of the 13th government, and added: "Unfortunately, the volume of our trade with Zimbabwe has decreased in recent years and has reached a small number, which we hope by organizing such meetings. Let's see the development of trade relations between the two countries.
Zimbabwe President's order to develop trade relations with Iran
Zimbabwe's Minister of Industry and Commerce, Hui Si Insenza, also pointed out that the President of Zimbabwe is also interested in developing trade relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: We are in a difficult situation. embargo and we want to use the experiences of countries that have experienced the embargo.
In this regard, Fatemi Amin said that Iran is ready to transfer its experiences in the field of sanctions management and said: Sanctions may cause problems in the first place, but in the end, they will induce countries to rely on their abilities to transform them into the engine of progress and the economy, shape yourself fundamentally.
Following this meeting, the parties discussed trade capabilities and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Zimbabwe called for the use of Iranian advanced industries in the field of agricultural products processing, production solar energy and the import of medicines and medical equipment from Iran.
He said: As Minister of Industry and Commerce of Zimbabwe, I had no knowledge of Iran's industrial capabilities until I visited Tehran, and now seeing the progress of the 'Iran, we want the presence of Iranian companies in Zimbabwe for the joint production of cars, solar energy, agricultural products and food industries.
Invite Zimbabwean investors to visit Iran's industrial capabilities
Minister Sammat also announced Iran's willingness to cooperate in these areas and formally invited Zimbabwean investors to visit solar power generation enterprises and food industries for joint cooperation and said: We also need Zimbabwean products such as cotton and gold and we can trade these goods.
He said: In the field of food processing that you mentioned, we have made good progress in this field in Iran and we have made good progress in the field of food industries such as tomato and pasta production, so we can cooperate in this field as well.
In the field of solar energy, several large companies have started operating and producing in Iran, and we have a good capacity in this regard.
Addressing the Minister of Industries of Zimbabwe, Fatemi Amin said that Iran has a very good capacity in the fields of medicine and medical equipment and said: We can cooperate with you in this field, and it there are very big companies in the field of mining, like copper, aluminum, and they work; However, we have limited gold reserves and therefore the participation of Iranian companies in Zimbabwe to mine and produce gold is available.

The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade added: Last year our exports to Africa increased by 100% compared to 2019 and doubled. We are trying to meet our needs as much as possible from Africa and to increase our exports to this country.
He said: Iran and Zimbabwe can define complementary relations between them. Because, historically, Iran has had extensive relations with African countries, which, of course, have seen a decline in these relations in recent years, which can be compensated.
Fatemi Amin said: Over the past five years our relationship with Zimbabwe has diminished so that until 5 years ago we were exporting $600,000 to Zimbabwe. But now our exports to this country have fallen to 10000 dollars and almost to zero.
Development of a roadmap for the development of trade between Iran and Zimbabwe
Fatemi Amin, stating that the joint commission between the two countries would be held next month, said in a proposal: Iran's Cooperation Minister and Zimbabwe's Foreign Minister are the heads of the joint commission. So, in a month when we have time, we can have communication and draw up a roadmap for the development of cooperation between the two countries.
Zimbabwe's Minister of Industry and Trade, Hui Si Insenza, also welcomed the proposal and said the two countries have many common areas of cooperation and that in some ways their economies complement each other.
Affirming that Zimbabwe imposes no restrictions on activities in the areas of mining, pharmaceuticals and information technology, Si Insenza said: Under the strict order of the President of Zimbabwe, we may have relations with Iran at any level.
C. Inesza added: In previous governments, we had an industrial development cooperation plan between the two countries, which did not work well; But we are in the new government and we are interested in the development of industrial cooperation between the two countries.
