There are 35,600 megawatts of combined cycle power plant capacity, of which we have 1,200 megawatts of thermal power plants that produce electricity without fuel consumption, so more than 18 billion cubic meters of gas or diesel fuel are saved each year.
Underlining that Iran's first geothermal power plant will enter the power generation circuit this summer, he said: the capacity to build a power plant inside the country has reached 95% and Iran is one of the four largest power plant manufacturers in the world.
Referring to the unique potential of our country in the field of repair and operation of plant units, Haeri said: efforts in this sector have made it possible to complete repairs of plant units before the start of in the summer, evidence of the full preparation of the country's power plants to produce stable electricity on peak days.
