He said: Iran and Turkmenistan have many transport relations and currently 400 wagons are moving daily at Sarkhes border and 200 wagons are moving daily from Inchebarun border.
Head of the Transport and Communications Agency attached to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan continued: Negotiations are continuing on the issue of establishing border bazaars, and we are ready to develop cooperation in this regard.
Mohammadov highlighted the completion of the road from Inche Brun to Hinda in Turkmenistan and added that: Turkmenistan is ready to discuss all issues raised regarding increasing transport relations between Iran and Turkmenistan in the the rail, road, sea and air sectors in the joint economic commission which will soon be created and which will have the task of removing and resolving the obstacles to cooperation between the two parties in the field of transport.
Stressing that the activation of the Ashgabat Agreement is also highlighted by the country of Turkmenistan, he called the activation of the provisions of this agreement a player in the growth of transit in the region.
The Head of the Transport and Communications Agency attached to the Cabinet of Turkmenistan explained: To facilitate the movement of Iranian commercial vessels and the exchange of goods between the two countries, Iran and Turkmenistan, especially with the ports of north, is planned and we are trying to strengthen these relationships.
He considered that the drafting of a comprehensive transport document between the two countries of Iran and Turkmenistan is very important and explained that the increase in rail, air, port and road capacity is planned in the Economic Commission. of the two countries which will be held soon.
As part of his meeting with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of our country, he focused on strengthening the presence of Turkmenistan in the completion of the North-South Corridor.
