New round of talks between Iran and Eurasian Economic Union held in Moscow.
The adviser for international affairs and trade agreements of the Iranian Trade Development Organization announced the holding of a new round of talks between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union in Moscow to finalize the text of the free trade agreement and determine the list of goods.
 

According to the Iranian Trade Development Organization's public relations, Mirhadi Sidi said: "Our country's negotiators were present in Moscow by the Iranian Trade Development Organization, and another round of talks took place. with representatives of the five member states of the Eurasian Union.”
  Negotiations between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union focus on converting the current preferential trade agreement into a free trade agreement.
  The free trade agreement stipulates that tariffs on about 80% of goods on both sides will be gradually reduced to zero, and tariffs on the remaining 20% ​​of goods will remain unchanged.
 The adviser for international affairs and trade agreements of the Iranian Trade Development Organization, stating that so far the negotiations have mainly focused on finalizing the text of the free trade agreement, added: "The negotiations in this round have addressed the issue of commodity schedules on both sides."
  At present, the text of the agreement has been largely finalized and there are few cases remaining that require further consideration by both parties.
   During this round of talks, which took place in Moscow on Tuesday and Wednesday, 6 and 7 May, the two parties reviewed the remaining points of the text of the agreement, focusing on the main axis of the lists of products.
 The adviser for international affairs and trade agreements at the Iranian Trade Development Organization added: "Negotiations between the two parties will continue in the coming months until the free trade agreement is signed. between the two parties before the end of this year".
 It should be mentioned that the Trade Development Organization of Iran has been in negotiations with the Eurasian Economic Union since the second half of 1399 to negotiate the conversion of a preferential trade agreement into a free trade agreement.
 Since the start of the aforementioned negotiations, four rounds of face-to-face talks have been held between the two sides and more than 15 rounds of talks have been held via video conference.
