45% increase in exports to countries bordering the Caspian Sea.
The Director General for Central Asia, Caucasus and Russia of the Iranian Trade Development Organization announced a 45% growth in exports to the Caspian Sea countries.
 

Rehmatullah Kharmali, Managing Director of Central Asia, announced the news and said: According to customs statistics, in the first five months of this year, Iran's exports to countries bordering the Caspian Sea amounted to $814 million, which was up about 45% over the same period last year.

He continued: Among the four countries bordering the Caspian Sea, the largest percentage increase in exports of Iranian products during this period was attributed to the countries of Azerbaijan 84%, Turkmenistan 40% and the Russian Federation from Russia 31%.

According to the Director General for Central Asia, Caucasus and Russia of the Iranian Trade Development Organization, the second economic conference of the Caspian littoral countries with the presence of the prime ministers and the heads of the chambers of commerce of the countries of this region will be held in Moscow from October 12 to 15 this year with the presence of senior Iranian officials.
