Referring to Paragraph 11 of the General Policies of the Resistance Economy and the prominent role of free zones in the economy of the country, he clarified: In addition to the policies explained, the law on the management of free zones also includes the development of the region.
The adviser to the president added: Free and special economic zones occupy a special place in the economic literature of the Islamic revolution, but did they achieve this privileged position or not? Abdul Maleki said that based on the upstream documents of the resistance economy, we have defined two basic approaches as strategies for free zones, and under each of them a number of policies have been considered which are being pursued, and said: Our first strategy is to popularize free zones.
He said that Arvand is the most populous free region in the country, which includes Khorramshahr, Abadan and Mino Island, and said: "All Iranians are attached to the citizens of these two cities and are dear to them, and therefore, taking care of the state of the economy, livelihoods, health and education As mentioned in the law, they will be our concern and will continue with the same seriousness as in the past and with more speed.
The Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Trade, Industrial and Special Economic Zones continued: Attention to all Iranian people is our concern and since all free zones in the country belong to all Iranian people, everyone should benefit of the existence of these areas. .
Abdolmaleki pointed out that we are also pursuing the globalization of free zones at the same time.
Explaining the following policies of this strategy, he added: Complete the software and hardware infrastructure of the international economy, create joint or corresponding free zones with other countries, attract foreign investors, create new economic models based on Islamic and revolutionary literature (resistance economics), including clauses This will be the strategy.
