Marashi: If the disgruntled take to the streets, no one will oppose them.
Hossein Marashi said: A small part of the crowd taking to the streets is protesting and a small part of them may revolt.

According to "Online Information", Hossein Marashi, general secretary of the Construction Agents Party of Iran, said in an interview with the Sazandgi newspaper: "Our nation has been divided". On the left side of society, we have Hezbollah forces, who accept the Islamic Republic system and theocracy and are respectable people, and we have no arguments with them.
On the right side of the society, there is a huge group of young people with a number of dissidents, not that they came through the Islamic Republic, but that they came through religion.
There are people who say that we accept the Islamic Republic of origin, like the words of Mr. Khatami, there is also someone like Mr. Engineer Mousavi, who says that he accepts the values of the 1957 revolution, but what is now is not those values at all. I do not accept this. Let's write the constitution from scratch.
One believes in subversion and the other in reform. Therefore, Iranian society has become a lot of ghosts. But it's all part of one nation and no one can eliminate anyone else.
He added: In my opinion, what is important and the government has accepted it and we have discussed it in the meetings, there is widespread dissatisfaction. If dissidents take to the streets, no one will oppose them. Because more than 75% of Iranians are unhappy. We have a huge disaffected population and a population of which a small part takes to the streets and protests, and a small part can revolt.
He said, "The government needs to focus and reflect to resolve the people's discontent, and this important work can only be done with a package of foreign policy, domestic policy, economic, cultural and social programs."
According to him, grievances cannot be resolved in one area and with one program, but it requires a set of reasonable international policies and national policies seeking cooperation and economic programs leading to strong economic growth.
