A Memorandum of Understanding for the development of rail transportation and the establishment of a logistics village in the Sirjan Special Economic Zone was signed at the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways headquarters between Dr. Hossein Amiri, CEO of Kerman Development Organization, and Jabar Ali Zakeri, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways. The agreement marks a significant milestone in advancing logistics infrastructure across southeastern Iran, positioning the Sirjan Logistics Village as a strategic hub for regional rail transportation and logistics. The project will enable faster freight movement, increase export capacity, and strengthen Sirjan’s role within the country's national transit network.
The Code of Ethics for Employees of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone was officially unveiled during a ceremony attended by the CEO, members of the Board of Directors, and senior executives. The event also marked the launch of the country's first logistics village in the region, representing a significant milestone in the industrial and commercial development of Kerman Province.
