Arian Mahtab Gostar was established in 2002 and is the first privately owned power generation company in Iran. It focuses on developing energy infrastructure projects, leveraging the expertise of industry specialists and prioritizing an agile organizational structure. Mahtab has played a leading role in investment management and energy sector development by outsourcing certain management functions and adopting successful international models. The company currently owns all or part of 12 thermal and renewable energy power plants with a capacity of approximately 4,400 MW, as well as a desalination plant with a capacity of 5,000 cubic meters.
