Hamid Shahsavari became the new CEO of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone.
At the opening of the ceremony, Engineer Mohsen Vafaei, also responsible for economic and investment affairs at the Kerman Development Organization, presented a report on his five years as head of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone and outlined the main measures and projects implemented during that period. Following this, Engineer Hamid Shahsavari, the new Director General of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, thanked the officials of the Kerman Development Organization for their confidence and presented his plans and strategies for infrastructure development, service improvement, investment facilitation, increased productivity, and strengthening the Sirjan Special Economic Zone’s position.
The ceremony in honor of engineer Mohsen Vafaei and the presentation of engineer Hamid Shahsavari as the new PDG of the special economic zone of Sirjan took place on Wednesday, August 26 in the morning, in the presence of Dr. Hossein Amiri, PDG of the Kerman Development Organization, the adjuncts of the organization and a group of cadres and employees of the special economic zone of Sirjan, in the conference room of the zone.
During the ceremony, engineer Mohsen Vafaei, former CEO of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone and also Deputy Head of Economic and Investment Affairs at the Kerman Development Organisation, presented a report on his five-year record at the head of the zone and explained the most important measures, achievements and projects implemented during that period.
Next, engineer Hamid Shahsavari, the new CEO of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, while thanking the officials of the Kerman Civil Engineering Organization for their confidence, explained his plans and approaches for the new management period.
He cited the development of infrastructures, the improvement of the level of services, the facilitation of the investment process, the increase in productivity and the strengthening of the position of the special economic zone of Sirjan as the most important axes of his programs, and emphasized the need to use existing capacities to accelerate the development process of the region.
Dr. Hossein Amiri, CEO of the Kerman Civil Engineering Organization, also read the decree appointing engineer Hamid Shahsavari at the ceremony, praising the services and efforts of engineer Mohsen Vafaei during his tenure as CEO of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone.
Referring to engineer Vafaei’s resignation as CEO of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, he said: “Given his need to focus more on his responsibilities in the economic and investment affairs of the Kerman Development Organisation, engineer Hamid Shahsavari has been chosen as the new CEO of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone.”
Dr. Amiri also stressed the need to intensify efforts to strengthen the status of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone and considered the continued presence and establishment of the CEO in Sirjan as one of the effective factors in accelerating the decision-making process, addressing executive issues and advancing the region’s development programs.
The Director General of the Kerman Development Organisation expressed hope that with the start of the new management period, the development process of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone and the implementation of its strategic projects will continue with greater acceleration.
At the end of the ceremony, a plaque of recognition was presented to engineer Mohsen Vafaei for his services and efforts during his tenure as CEO of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, and engineer Hamid Shahsavari received wishes of success and honor in his new role.
