Kerman Automotive Industries Group

A leader in the Iranian automotive industry

Kerman Automotive Industries was founded in January 1990 with the goal of developing the private sector automotive industry and creating jobs in eastern Kerman Province. The complex began by importing cars from the Korean manufacturer Daewoo and, given its popularity with consumers, shifted towards local automotive production. With the implementation of the automotive production plan in the New Arg area of Bam, starting in 1993, one of the most important industrial hubs in southeastern South Korea emerged. This project, located in the heart of the desert, aimed to combat poverty, create jobs, and boost the regional economy.
