Inauguration of two development and infrastructure projects in the Sirjan special economic zone

Coinciding with the celebration of Government Week, the inauguration ceremony for two development and infrastructure projects in the Sirjan Special Economic Zone will take place on Wednesday, September 24, in the presence of a group of provincial and municipal officials.

This ceremony will take place in the presence of the Friday Imam of Sirjan, the Governor of Sirjan, the Mayor of Sirjan, Dr. Hossein Amiri, CEO of the Kerman Development Organisation, members of the board of directors, the CEO and managers of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, a group of executive agency managers, and provincial and municipal officials.

During this ceremony, the southern gateway project of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone will be inaugurated to improve access, streamline traffic flow, and develop the region’s infrastructure. A three-megawatt solar power plant will also be launched; this major renewable energy project will contribute significantly to the development of clean energy infrastructure and help meet a portion of the region’s electricity needs. Through the implementation of infrastructure and development projects, the Sirjan Special Economic Zone is committed to enhancing investment, production, and employment capacity, ensuring balanced regional development, and providing more tailored services to economic stakeholders.
