The task of attracting domestic and foreign investment to the Sirjan Special Economic Zone has been entrusted to the company Ofogh Tejarat Kavir.

In order to develop economic activities, increase investment opportunities, and utilize the capabilities of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, a memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Sirjan Construction Company and the Ofogh Tejarat Kavir Company, with the aim of organizing and advancing the process of attracting both domestic and foreign investors.

به گزارش روابط عمومی، این تفاهم‌نامه با حضور دکتر حسین امیری، مدیرعامل سازمان عمران کرمان، قاسم ابراهیم‌نژاد، معاون مالی و اداری این سازمان، حمید شهسواری، مدیرعامل شرکت عمران کار سیرجان و مجری منطقه ویژه اقتصادی سیرجان، و سعید ابوالحسنی، مدیرعامل شرکت افق تجارت کویر، به امضا رسید.

According to the press release, this memorandum of understanding was signed in the presence of Dr. Hossein Amiri, Director General of the Kerman Development Organization; Qasem Ebrahimnejad, Deputy Director for Finance and Administration at the same organization; Hamid Shahsavari, Director General of the Sirjan Development Company and Executive Director of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone; and Saeed Abolhasani, Director General of the company Ofogh Tejarat Kavir.

Under the terms of this memorandum, Ofogh Tejarat Kavir—tasked with attracting investment to the Sirjan Special Economic Zone—has committed to identifying, presenting, and promoting the zone to both domestic and foreign investors, as well as securing their investment.
This cooperation aims to establish a coherent mechanism to leverage the economic assets and advantages of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, foster stronger relationships with investors, and streamline the processes involved in investing across various industrial, manufacturing, commercial, and service sectors.

Under this memorandum, the company Ofogh Tejarat Kavir will be responsible for identifying investment opportunities, presenting the region’s economic plans and capabilities, establishing communication and conducting negotiations with domestic and foreign investors, and following up on matters related to attracting capital.

Furthermore, Sirjan Civil Engineering Company, in its capacity as the operator of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, will provide the elements necessary to achieve the objectives of this memorandum by supplying information on capabilities, infrastructure, and investment opportunities, as well as by cooperating in the implementation processes.

The conclusion of this memorandum represents a step toward strengthening economic cooperation, effectively utilizing the capabilities of the Sirjan Special Economic Zone, increasing private sector participation, and laying the foundations for the development of production, employment, and both domestic and foreign investment in this region.
